Urban Analytics and Interventions Research Lab (uLab) explores the social, economic and health effects of large-scale interventions in cities.

We are investigating street experiments that bridge mobility and public space to look at how short-term actions lead to long-term changes.

RESEARCH AREAS

We are interested in urban renewal, and use changes in housing and neighbourhood as complex interventions to investigate effects on health and wellbeing.

STREETS & PUBLIC SPACE

We are investigating street experiments that bridge mobility and public space functions to look at how short-term actions lead to long-term changes.

uLab's research is interdisciplinary on urban analytics, empirical social science, human geography, architecture, and urban studies and planning.
