Dr Guibo Sun was awarded the prestigious international fellowship from Lincoln Institute of Land Policy (USD 35,000).
Guibo Sun will work on this project "Are gated communities capturing the lion's share of metro-created accessibility in Chinese cities?".
The Fellowship Evaluation Committee has carefully evaluated all qualified proposals from scholars around the world. The Committee was impressed with his proposal and recommended that him be awarded the fellowship.The total amount of the fellowship is US$35,000, for a period from March 01, 2023 to May 31, 2024.
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s Program on the People’s Republic of China calls proposals annually for academic and policy research papers addressing land, urban, fiscal, and environmental issues related to urbanization in China. Only scholars based outside of mainland China are eligible to apply. Three to four winning proposals are expected to be selected.
