AALRT
Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit (AALRT) is the first such infrastructure in Sub-Sahara Africa. AALRT consists of one north-south line and one east-west, covering 34 km and serving 39 stations. The lines cross the city centre and the prosperous areas resulting from recent years’ exponential rate of urbanisation and population growth.
